Hello,

I sent several personal email to a friend with very private content in them, and another friend of his has been reading them. She was opening and reading the email before he ever read them? I asked him how she was able to do this and he said she was snooping through his emails. I feel very violated, and want to know what can be done if anything?

Hello nan:

Tell your friend to use a password on her email. That's the ONLY thing you can do. Snooping is NOT a crime.

To keep emails private, use hotmail and make a non-personalized username so that no one can guess that it is you and use a difficult to guess password to keep anyone from breaching your account. Instead of using a name or date that someone could guess, mix up random letters and numbers that don't make sense and throw in a few capital letters, that will make your account totally secure.
