Average... in my experience is 3 years CM... there are some 1 year, I try to stay away from those, that isn't usually even enough time to recoup your expenses; equipment, insurance, etc.

I try to get contracts that have no end dates... as most contracts have 30 day termination clauses as it is... they can always cancel legally anyway with written notice.
