I am trying to speed up my computer. IE takes almost a minute to load. This is only been happening a few days. It used to take about 10-15 seconds to load, now it takes about a minute. I was told to clean up and fix my registry, but every tools I have tried to use either wants money or it does absulotely nothing. I looked through AskMe and found tools that people said were free but they turned out NOT to be free. CCleaner said it fixed everything, yet IE is no faster. Can anyone help me, please? Thank you. :) Micky

CCleaner is NOT free - you have tp participate in a TrialPay offer program.

Actually CCleaner is very much a FREE application.
I have been using it for YEARS!
The link you've posted even says the same.
Their main site is here: CCleaner - Home (http://www.ccleaner.com)

To be fair to Mickey, when clicking on "download latest version" links you ARE presented with a PAYPAL screen. But Mickey should know to read thoroughly... as that is a nagging attempt to get donations... which CCleaner thoroughly deserves!
Anyway, it IS free, just use the links BELOW the PayPal buttons.
When I post links to CCleaner, I usually just post links TO THE DOWNLOAD page, not some front on someone else's website.
