We recently moved into a new place and although it's a great house, I'm considering moving because the water volume on my shower and tub is horrible. We originally thought it was just the shower so we switched the head to a brand new one. Then we realized that the tub does the same thing. I'm not sure what info anyone would need to help me with this so ask me anything and I'll try to answer. I'm a little confused on this dept but my boyfriend is quite the handyman so we're hoping it's an easy fix.
The water volume is about half of what it has been on any other tub or shower I've used. Our hot water tank is built in to our furnace. We have tried turning up the heat because it's strange how normally you'd turn on hot and cold water to get a good temperature but with this shower, you don't turn the cold on at all or you get cold, cold water. So after turning it up all the way, it didn't change the volume at all and we can now turn the cold on just a hair to get a nice temperature. But still, I could leave the cold off completely and it's not too hot for an adult to take a shower.
Any ideas? Could it be a clog? Again, ask me anything... I'll send my boyfriend down to the basement to get any info you ask for. Thanks.
