Ok so I am a 27 year old woman and I have never had an irregular period. Just 5 weeks ago I had a normal period but after I went off it one week later I bleed again! Then I when off and another week later I am bleeding again. They are just like normal periods 5-7 days no extra cramping. Can someone tell me what is going on! I am not taking birth control so it can't be that but I am under a lot of stress but no more than normal.

Have you lost or gained weight recently? Sometimes that cause changes. You would want to see your doctor about this because they may also want to check for cysts and/or fibroids, endometriosis, as well as rule out pregnancy before treating you in any way.

Even if you are not sexually active (you didn't say whether you are or not), birth control can be used to regulate your period and get you back on track.
