Hi guys,

I'm new. Haha. And I've never seen a site that, as it seems, is so helpful in helping people out :) So, I decided to see if you guys could help me out. I have been trying to figure out the name of a kid's movie I saw when I was a kid in the 80s/ early 90s. This movie had puppets, if I remember correctly... like the Jim Henson kind of puppets. And, I think they were all creatures or animals, except for one small kid, on this adventure; and the actual scenery in their world was all very puppet-like, even the plants and stuff.

I remember that their adventure dealt a lot with SHAPES, like the puppets would find a circle or a square and figure out how to use it. And, then I think they eventually had to find a key to unlock this cage; and my memory seems to remember that a lot of it took place in a forest-like place, at night.

If anyone can figure this one out, man you would be awesome!! Haha.
I've been trying to think of it for a while now, and nothing is coming to mind.

Sorry if I'm wrong but that's not Dark Crystal is it?

Nope. It definitely did not have such a dark feel to it... and it might not have even been night the whole time. Though, when it was dark, the scenery was still lit up, and had a very peaceful feel to it.

It might have been an educational video, as well, since it dealt with shapes, but I'm not sure.

Follow that bird- the movie is about big bird runs away from home and all his friens find him locked in a cage and have to find the correct shaped key to release him -hes a circus act-is that the one you remember?

So, I was away working at a camp. I came back a few days ago, and I still am dying to figure out the name of this movie =D Any suggestions? Anyone? Aaahhh!!

Oh, man! We are getting close. The way the scenery looks, and the puppets remind me a LOT of it. The only thing different is that the puppets are a bit taller, and of course the plot is different. Thank you, thank you, thank you for your effort, Blue Angel =) It wasn't a long shot, it was actually really close! Haha.

I have been looking for the same thing FOREVER!!

I have been looking for this movie for about five years. I remember it ending in a forrest with a bunch of animals singing a and dancing. All puppets and tree people Exeter for the one little kid. I kind of remember it being more lit up then you describe though.
