Have daughter two months old. Not married to mother. Signed birth certificate. I work nights and watch daughter in the day while mother works. Wonderful arrangement for all. Today, when mother was dropping my daughter off she saw my girlfriend's car and got mad and took my daughter to one of her friends I don't know to baby sit. She text me that I will no longer take care of my daughter she will take her to her friends house instead. I'm not a baby sitter, I'm the father.

My question is: Can she choose a stranger over me to care for our daughter?

PS. I am going to submit to her demands so I can watch my daughter but intend to go to court for 50/50 custody.

She has custody and control of the child. If you want visitation, you must go to Court to enforce your rights.

I'm surprised she hasn't gone for child support.

Get into court now. Get these things resolved. You can ask the courts for first right of refusal. That way you can avoid daycare expenses by watching your daughter during the day. If your child isn't sleeping in your home 50% of the time then its not a 50 / 50 arrangement. Be aware of that when asking for custody and such.
