I never had a place of my own I just look at my credit report and I have a small claims judgment on for were I use to live when I lived there I was under age. The apartment was in my mother name. I do not think I should be held responsible for her stuff. But the people said because I was there after I turn 18 . But I was not working I was still in school. I do not feel that I should be punished for other information. How do I get this off my credit report and will it effect me from getting my own place in may.


I need answer as soon as possible I'm in a bad living situation and I need to move but I'm trying to make sure my credit is OK.

Find out what court issued the judgement and file a motion to remove your name (or if he judgement is only on you) vacate it.

Your grounds are that you were never on the lease so you should not be responsible.
