I want to install a ceiling fan with lights. I have 3 electrical wires and a ground in my ceiling box. (2 whites 1 black and ground). I know the ground I believe the black is hot but Im not sure why there's 2 whites?

Is there a wall switch for this box, does it interrupt the hot/black feed? You can mount the fan but the lights and fan will be controlled by pull chains or a remote, you decide.

Yes there is a wall switch. Its got 3 dimmers 2 for the fan and 1 for the kitchen lights.

Are the white wire's going to stay together?

The whites should all be neutrals and can stay together. I always test each wire because you shouldnever assume what the wire does just because of its color. 2 diimers for the fan, that's very odd.

Ooops I actually have red, black, white, and the ground. There are 3 dimmers 1 of them controls the cabinet lights the other 2 control the fan.

So the 2 dimmers to the fan comntrol fan speed and a light kit on the fan unit, right?

What was there before the fan, and how was it connected? What wires come from the new fan?

Normally it's

Black-black
Blue-red
White-white
