I have a Australian Shepherd he is 13 years old - last year he had an allergic reaction to something? This year it happened again - his back is covered in little red bumps and he chews at them. It is either a seasonal allergy or an allergic reaction to Frontline Plus.

Vet gave him benedryl (not much help) also had him on a steroid (not good) I gave him the application of Frontline Plus in March and shortley after this reaction started again.

Anyone out there experience a bad reaction to frontline?

Sorry, we've never used any of the systemic flea products, because they're systemic. We found a spray product a couple of years before these products became popular with pet owners and have never even looked at trying to make our dogs poisonous. It's by Zoecon Labs and it's called Pet-Cor. At the first sign of fleas we thouroughly spray down our freshly bathed dog and send her back to wherever the fleas came from. It has a growth regulator in it that breaks up the flea life cycle as well as actively repelling fleas.
