What are the main facts do you need to know for a band to be called your favorite
Because I have this friend who always judges me when I say something is my favorite band
And when I can't answer some of her question she thinks its not my favorite band

I don't think there is a list of things that you must know about a band (or any subject for that matter) for it to be your favorite. People have favorite things for different reasons. But its always nice to know things about the band that you claim is your favorite so that you can converse with others about it, if that's something you're interested in.

You don't need reasons to have a favorite. Just liking 'em is enough. If somebody else doesn't like your taste in music, that shouldn't surprise you either.
