My normal temperature is 96.8-97.3, but for about a month now it has been 99. Something. The lowest it has been is just plain 99. I understand that most doctors do not consider that a fever but I feel that something is wrong. I feel like my face keeps getting really hot. I have other symptoms but I do not know if they have anything to do with it because I have had them for a while now. I have neck pain which has gotten worse, a cough which I have had for a few years and it is still the same as it was when I first got it, I keep getting tired and a little lightheaded also.

Hi, if this is a woman that I am replying to, it may be possible that you are having hot flashes. You need to visit a good doctor, and be sure to tell all of your symptoms. Please see your doctor before things get worse.

Hello, you could be having what is called in medical parlance, a 'low grade fever'.
Low grade fever often indicates some underlying condition, which your doctor will be able to diagnose. Perhaps you need some investigations to be done, too.
Since your persistently raised temperature is accompanied by tiredness (apart from from chronic cough and a pain in the neck, which might or might not be related to the raised temperature), you would do well to get yourself checked up for it.
As humble10 has said, it may be nothing more than the hot flashes of menopause (if you are a woman), but other causes should be ruled out, first. I don't mean to say you should worry, rather, you should take care!
