I just replaced the water pump on my moms Taurus and now the part the belt goes around won't turn. Can anyone tell me why and or what to do?

The reference is not real clear. Are you referring to the water pump pulley or the idler pulley?

. Did you route the serpentine belt correctly?

Check vin # some has a"U" and "I". See which one you installed.

I hope this help, heck vin # some has a"U" mean SOHC and "S" mean DOHC. See which one you installed.:cool:
