where can i find software or as the eror message sayes sound card for this device i am at a loss
For discrete sound cards: The web site of the card's manufacturer.
For built-in motherboard controllers: The web site of the motherboard manufacturer.
Clues to the manufacturers and device model will be in the invoice and documentation for the computer, the operating system device manager, or the labeling on the hardware itself.
