OK I have a rele sticky situation. I have fallen in love with a different guy that isn't my boyfriend. I've only been dating my boyfriend for 6 months and he says if I break up with him he will kill himself... I don't want him to because I still care about him and he has tried to kill himself before so he isn't just saying that... what do I do??

You can not control what another person does. You can not continue to stay with somebody because they are threatening to kill themselves. That is emotional black mail. The longer you leave it. Honestly that harder it will be, not for you but for him. I would suggest that you make his family, friends or the police aware of the situation. It will be up to them to keep an eye on him.

He's using suicidal threats to control you. If you stay with him, you are just giving in to what he wants. You have to leave him and maybe inform a family member or friend that is close to him about his threats so that they can help him. But him being suicidal is not your fault, it's his.

You should tell him that he is being very selfish to think about taking his life.
He is not thinking about the pain and anguish he would cause to those left behind.
People love him and he would devastate them.
You should also tell him that he can't force you to love him and if you stayed with him it would not be out of love but obligation to keep him safe.Ask him if he really wants someone to be with him on those conditions.

This guy done cheated you, after you know he did you should've left. Now your in love with another and afraid of leaving your boyfriend because he threaten to harm himself?

You can stay with someone out of pity. If you really believe he is going carry out that threat then call 911 so they take him to the pysch he can be their problem.

However, I must warn you to be careful because he might stalk you or something. Todatg you never know what people are capable of.

You leave him alone and break up with him. If your scare to do it in person do it over the phone. Speak your peace and then simply hang up.
