My husband and I are Trying to conceive for the first time. It is a very recent development on his part. This is our first month trying.
My last period was March 1st - March 6th.
My ovulation cycle was calculated to be between March 15th-22nd.
During that time my husband and I actively did the BD.
I began getting a little nauseous about a week after the 15th and then followed by some headaches. A couple of days later I began getting very hot randomly and would even sweat. On the 24th I noticed blue veins in my breasts, I hadn't seen them before now. I was out of town that day. When I returned home about four days away from my husband he commented that my breasts felt firmer and heavier. They had also become very tender, more so than I have ever experienced before. I have also been experiencing motion sickness while in a higher up vehicle and if I move too fast. I have experienced some mild mood swings (at least I think they are mild.) I find myself becoming tired more easily and where I use to stay up late and sleep in, I'm going to sleep earlier and waking up earlier than normal. I pee very frequently. At least once ever hour and a half or so. My husband and I began thinking that I had to be PG... it just seems right. My next period would be due between March 28th and April 1st. We held hope that AF wouldn't show up. However around 5:30 on the 31st. I began bleeding. It seems like it will be a normal cycle but I am being told that it could be implantation, or that I could just be bleeding like normal and still be PG that some women bleed through half of their pregnancy or more. At 10 DPO I took a HPT (Soon I know but I'm a first timer and yeah,) and I got (as expected) a BFN. My husband and I both are very let down at the thought of AF being here. I am going to test again at 14 DPO but what I need to know is if there is still hope of us being PG this time around?

It's possible, but not likely just yet for a few reasons. It is the first month of trying... certainly pregnancy can happen right away, but it often takes at least a few months, sometimes longer, for most couples. Your bleeding is like a regular period... again, while some women will have some bleeding in early pregnancy, it usually is going to be somehow different from their normal period. It may be lighter or shorter in duration. Then you have gotten a negative result on a pregnancy test. As you have already mentioned, it was early, but some women do get a positive result that soon.

Best bet, try another test in several more days. If still negative, continue bding on a regular basis throughout your cycle... with a few more sessions in the several days leading up to when you think ovulation is most likely to occur. Be sure to start, if you haven't already, with prenatal vitamins or a multivitamin with at least 400 mcg of folic acid in them while you are trying to conceive. See what happens when your next period is due.

Good luck!
