Two weights are connected by a massless wire and pulled upward with a constant speed of 1.50 m/s by a vertical pull P. The tension in the wire is T
Weight 1 is 25N, weight 2 is 100N
QUESTION1) P is what
QUESTION2) T is what

For question 1 ) it said what is P closest to: a)245N, b) 1225N, c)25N, d)125N, e) 187.5N
For question 2) what is T closest to: a)980 b)100N c)125N d)75 e)150N

Try drawing a free body diagram. (a small sketch analyzing the forces) that's where I would start. And also, it is at CONSTANT speed. What does this say about acceleration?

No need to modify your question. And you should be able to do this question without the given possible answers.

Firstly, you need to know the force you need to lift the two weights. Then use your formula F=ma. (f is force, m is mass and a is acceleration)

Post back your answer.
