What is the standard distance between each two valves to install on suction & delivery pump pipe ?
I know that it will be a function on pipe diameter , but I wish 2 know what is these function & which standard attend on these problem?!

The rules state the distance between valves and fittings should be between 2 to 10 the diameter of the pipe depending in the type of upstream and downstream pipes. However, I rarely seem this actually been installed due to the space limitation, As well as this rules are not updated to the new technologies of the valves and fittings that smooths flow out and do not require that large distances.
