I have a 2000 honda accord v6 ex. My car will sometimes start up and then die. It does not o it all the time. I went and got an electrical diagnostic on it and they said it was reading a high map sensor. I replaced it. Now it is doing the same thing. Still is not throwing a code! Can anyone help Thanks!!

On your generation of Honda, starting and dying problems tend to be related to spark plugs, ECM, coil-on-plugs (COPs), and Crankshaft Position Sensor. If your platinum spark plugs have more than 36,000 miles or 3 years on them, I would get them replaced. Only use the exact NGK spark plugs that came in the car. If the problem persists, I would next focus on the Crankshaft Position Sensor.

Replacing a MAP Sensor is suspicious--they tend to be very reliable. In fact, I have never seen one go bad.

I'm sorry I did change the spark plugs and I only use NGK spark plugs. I also change battery.

That's good. I would now focus on the CKP Sensor. They take a lot of abuse from the elements, due to their location.
