About two years ago I subscribed to an adult sight which has many categories.yes I'm an american male There are nearly 100 sections. My favorite ones are the ones that change at the first of each month showing 4 movies run in windows media player. They and all the other sites ran well for about a year and a half. Then one morning when I went on the sight, the monthly ones suddenly wouldn't play. They flip up a download box instead and when you try to use it, it fails. Strangely, allthe other sights on this huge sight work just fine. I use this sight more than any other and on other sights the media player works just fine, whether adult or not. What's more, any previously recorded videos work just fine. When I write the sight they insist the problem must be on my end with my windows media player. Frustrating. I realize that it's only an adult sight, but it's irritating to be paying for all of it, and getting only part of it. And the parts that I'm missing are my favorites.

Could possibly have accidentally changed a setting somehow? And if so, what can I do to correct it? It's driving me crazy. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks

Frustrated

Try uninstalling Windows Media Player. When you've done that, download CCleaner (CCleaner - Home (http://www.ccleaner.com)), run its "cleaner" and run its "registry" cleaner. The registry section should be run repeatedly until no more "errors" are found. Blow away everything it finds. When that has been accomplished, download the newest version of Windows Media Player (http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/player/11/default.aspx)and install that.

It's still a crap shoot as to what's going wrong. Your computer may be infected with some sort of virus or other malware. If that's the case, you'll have to clean that before things will work properly.

... and be careful with sites such as the ones you've been visiting.
