I just moved a few months ago into a new house which has a sewage tank pump installed in the basement. The pump seems to be pumping out water every hour even if we are not using the water downstairs as much as we are using the water on the main floor.I shut down the water and opened up the tank to check out for any problems, and here is what I found out so far,it seems like there is no leaks, and the water is coming from the pipes connected from the house to the tank, also I noticed the pump has started pumping out water a lot more now with the mild weahter and the rain we have been getting,in the cold weather we didn't seem to notice this problem as much as now,I asked a plumber about the problem and he told me that as long as the water is clean there is no problem with overflooding our septic tank which we also have in our house,so I was just womdering if anyone else could give me their opinion on this situation,is it something to be worried about or is it a normal thing as long as the water is clean water.. Thanks.
