Isn't a "non-bar lawyer" really just "some dude that went to law school"?

And seriously... bar or not, you would think that a lawyer or really, anyone with half a brain, would guess than any random internet site offering part of a BILLION dollars just might be a little shady.

I am a "non bar" lawyer, went to law school but did not take the bar ( my story and I am sticking to it)

Or perhaps I could not walk pass a bar back then,

And I have several license, even a drivers, So I guess I fit the bill.

You have an order of judgement for a billion dollars? So this wasn't small claims court?

Isnt a "non-bar lawyer" really just "some dude that went to law school"?

Just like a doctor who did not take his boards.

Why would you want a lawyer/doctor who is not certified to be doing such important work?

And I bet payment is going to be paid every month by a money order or cashiers check, and you keep your percent and send him the rest by western unioin??

Hey - that sounds like a good plan. How big will my percentage of 1 billion be?

But on a seroius note, ( assuming the poster was not seroius of course)
There are places where people who go to law school work without a bar, I know some that do work with workers comp law if approved by the board, in IRS tax work, as court clerks and the such.

My cousin graduated law school but never took the bar. She does research and writes papers for some DC bigwig.

Im just messin with the OP. Cause seriously - if you're going to prey on web posters, a legal forum PROBABLY isn't the best place. :)

I know, though we could steal the thread, yes, I went to work for the Justice Dept back in the day. And worked in investigations, got to set on one of the boards that listen to inmate issues.

Yes, the order for judgement is in fact a little over 1 billion and no it was not in small claims court. It is under the control of the Treasurer of the United States and I need to get it transferred to a private bank and do not want to use the services of bar licensed attorneys for several obvious reasons.

Would one of those obvious reasons be because a lawyer would see through this silly scam?

I would suspect not as they were one of the ones the judgement is against. Doesn't make much sense to put the fox in charge of the chicken coop.

So you have a judgment against a chicken coop?

So it's not just a percentage? There is a BONUS? I went to law school but I didn't take the Bar due to some stupid requirement that you have to actually attend classes and finish law school and pass exams or something in order to graduate. I don't exactly know because I wasn't paying attention.

I'm not non-barred; I'm more anti-barred.

I'd be PERFECT for this job, far better than some other people who posted "me, me, me" (and you know who you are).

I have a driver's license, my dogs are licensed and I'm currently taking classes to obtain a motorcycle license.

Me, pick me!
