Okay, hi I'm new on this site.
Well my question is,
Last late July I died my hair like a brownish blonde color and for a long time it went black. Then finally turned to the blonde color it was supposed to have been in the 1st place.
And for like 4 to 6 months now it has been slowly from the scalp going back to my natural hair color and it has only came out about 2 or 3 inches from the top. Then 2 weeks ago I died my hair using loreal feria a red ruby color. That lasted for a week and 3/4 came out.
So the top inch or 2 of my hair is still coming out from the red and the rest is the blonde that isn't going away like it should. Today I started using th prell classic shampoo and left it in for a little bit and then washed it out. It was bubbling while it was in my wet hair. So will the prell shampoo get rid of the blonde and probably the red. I'm mainly wanting the blonde out.?
If so how long do you think it would be till its all out?

IF you died when you did this you no longer have problems.

However, if you dyed your hair and had problems than I'll have to defer to a cosmetologist. :)

What you're experiencing is color fade. It appears that your hair is pretty porous because otherwise, it wouldn't have faded as badly as you indicate that it has.

To answer your question directly, "how long do you think it will be until it's all out," the answer is "probably an awfully long time. Although fading can be significant, there will still be some artificial pigment that's still going to cling to your hair.

If you wish it out and wish to be blonde again, (if so, why did you dye it red?), then you have to use color remover (ColorFix, Color Zap, Color Oops) to remove the artificial pigment and then bleach out anything that didn't come out. Since you used Feria, and Feria uses what are known as "direct dyes" instead of oxidative dyes, it's likely that you will not get it all out with ColorFix. You'll have to bleach out the rest of the color you don't want. So, use ColorFix first, then bleach and finally re-dye (not die) the hair with a new color.

Prell shampoo only works if you use it immediately after coloring your hair. Sounds like you need to stop colorng your hair at home and go to a salon after your hair has all grown out with all those colors in it. Either that, or just don't color your hair period. Sounds like your hair has a problem being colored. ;0(
