Hi,
I'm am living in Miami, FL. I had a J-1 Visa from January 1, 2008 to October 31, 2008.
I went back to Germany for the first three weeks of November and I returned with an E-1 Visa.
I was working for 10 month with a J-1 Visa and the remaining 5 weeks of 2008 I worked with an E-1 Visa.

What form do I use to file my tax return? It is very difficult doing it online with online tax back companies because they don't know about the special return rules.

I had a lot of travel and lawyer expenses to get the new Visa.
Thanks for all the help that I might need...

For 2008, you are nonresident. You must file non-resident tax return Form 1040NR or 1040NR-EZ and Form 8843. You will get treaty deduction. Nonresident return can not be efiled, and most of the software do not do this.

Does anyone know a tax ezpert who might be able to help me with filling the forms?
I am so confused reading the instructions and the forms. I don't want to make a mistake...

You should download the forms from Internal Revenue Service (http://www.irs.gov) and complete them.
If you still have a question, ask here or click my user name and ask me.

You will not get any deduction for you expenses to get visa.
