Need to find when I did this in Virginia?

You should have been notified - isn't it on your papers? If not it may be available on line or the Clerk may give it to you. You would have to call and ask.

Yes,in virginia there is a small fee to get a copy of your bk papers which should include your discharge date. You can do this on line or in person

I work in the car business and we are able to call on people who are in a bankruptcy and see if it is discharged or awaiting discharge I am at home and do not have that number sorry

You don't have what number? Some sort of central clearing agency's number? These are Federal Court matters in various jurisdictions.

Bankruptcy court filings are available online through PACER for a nominal fee.

I find PACER to be unreliable due to the amount of info that is not released and/or is blocked out. I have found similar names and no way to ID the specific person.

Of course, if a person is asking about his/her own file I would assume he/she can identify himself -

It is another site that is only as "good" as the person keyboarding the info.
