Hi,
My wife is on F2 visa and doesn't have social security or ITIN. She was in US for the whole year 2008.
Could you please advise me which forms should I fill for her. I believe she only needs form W-7. Do I need to fill a 8843 for her?
In summary, can I say that a F1-student and his wife together need to submit the following forms:
a) 1040 NR [F1 visa holder]
b) 8843 [F1 visa holder]
c) W-7 [ for the dependent, i.e F2 visa holder]
