I am trying to do my forensic science homework and I cannot find the last two questions!
The First Question is:
A low explosive becomes explosive and lethal only when it is ________.
The second question is:
Unconsumed explosive residues may be detected in the laboratory through a careful _________ examination of the debris.
I have searched and searched my book and I cannot find these answers!

I'm guessing a little bit, but I think the answer to the first one is, "detonated". The strict definition of a low explosive is an explosive that doesn't "burn" with a constant detonation speed. The burning is continually accelerating until it's consumed. With a high explosive, the burning quickly reaches a constant detonation velocity. Somehow, I don't think this is what they're after.
For the second one, I think the answer is Chemical as in chemical examination of the debris.
