First there was Barack Obama's Teleprompter's Blog (http://baracksteleprompter.blogspot.com/), notes from TOTUS. Now, TOTUS strikes back courtesy of Iowahawk (http://bighollywood.breitbart.com/dburge/2009/03/23/hey-barack/). Warning: some adult language involved...

Who said you can't make fun of Obama?

I did like the teleprompter goof where he introduced himself not too long ago.

Did you see his interview on 60 minutes last night? He did great without his teleprompter. He had a huge grin when AIG bonuses were mentioned and laughed out loud on several other questions where it was completely and clearly wrong to laugh. Hey, this guy's literally laughing at the US!! I guess he should have had a teleprompter instead of trying to "wing it" as he was definitely not good at answering questions. And he blinked his eyes so much (a proven gesture of lying) that the deceit was just oozing out of the TV about his non sincerity of what he was talking about.

He should really have been a comedian and not the POTUS. And even as a comedian he would have had an act that consisted of umma ummma ummma, uh uh uh uh uh and that would have been his better material.

So twinkie... One minute he's a bore and never smiles? The next he smiles too much and laughs when he shouldn't? He can't win really.

I never said he was a bore and didn't smile, but sure, I'll say that he is a bore. I said the man kept laughing at inappropriate times and at inapppropriate topics. Like why would he express a HUGE grin when asked about the AIG bonuses? What's to smile about that topic let alone laugh about it? I don't think the huge AIG bonuses are laugh material considering the money comes from the US Taxpayer's pockets.

But I agree. AIG Bonuses are no laughing matter. I like the fact he is trying to put a cap on them. Many others here don't. I see Goldman Sachs are even handing there TARP money back. Good PR exercise.

Obama is a bore.

Happy now?

Oh, yes, before I forget Skell...

How about after Obama finishes wrecking the US, how about we send him over there to Australia so he can wreck your economy and impose weird laws on your country for the next 4 years? Well, how about it. Then you could say you are an official Obot or Obamatron. Right now you're just an Obot want to be. Well?

Skell
Mar 24, 2009, 06:22 PM
Im certainly no Obot. He's yet to convince me. Ill admit though that after the 8 years of Bush I was keen to see an Obama victory over McCain.

As far as the rest of the world is concerned Bush's admin was a complete failure. Particularly unpopular was his war in Iraq, Gitmo and the mistreatment of prisoners, economic mismanagement and just general bad policies. I actually liked the guy. He had a close relationship with our PM. He had a sense of humour and I have heard first hand he is a gentleman (my very good mate was head of his NSW Police Force detail for APEC and said he was the most polite and warm leader he had ever come across).

I don't want Obama down here. But I do want him to succeed for the best interests of us all. Unlike many of you I'm not wishing failure upon him.

Decisions made in the US directly affect us down under here which is why I take an interest. You are one our biggest allies and sometimes unfortunately we follow your lead. So if you fail, ultimately we fail. I don't want that!

P.S. Your economy was wrecked well and truly before Obama came into power.

I hear the teleprompter used last night was the size of a stadium scoreboard.

This week he met briefly (I'm told) with former President Jimmy Carter... no doubt to consult on how to make the best of his Kumbaya video to jihadists that was interpretted as an overwhelming desire to join the brotherhood of dhimmi.

He also met with former Soviet boss Mikhail Gorbachev to determine how best to reset relations with Putin. Gorby of course is remembered for trying and failing to put a goody feelly face on Soviet totalitarianism in an effort to preserve it .
He ,like Carter were failures so of course it makes sense that the President would seek their council.

Hello righty's:

Couple things...

I don't get your thing about how Obama speaks... Really, since the dufus YOU elected din't unnerstand the local tongue very well.

The next thing is your ability to tell how bad he's doing after only 56 days... Actually, you don't really HAVE that ability. The ability you have is to read the emails sent out by the limp dude and his minions.

You're not even making a pretense of bi-partisanship, and haven't since he was elected... Yet, you have NO problem putting him down for not being bi-partisan and enacting Republican proposals...

Like I've said before, you righty's are silly.

Yes I know the game. While he plunges in with an urgency to get as much done as he can in his 1st 100 days ;we are to sit mute and not comment on his performance. I think he has done a lot of damage in his time and I will not be silenced .

I don't care about bi-partisanship at all except for the contradictions between his performance and his rhetoric. I'd be honestly happier if he all along said things like "I have the political capital and intend to use it" . That at least would be honest.

Instead he says that if the Republicans in Congess don't walk in goose step with his proposed budget the Dems will stifle debate and the amending process ,and pass his budget by a 'reconsiliation' vote .

Couple things.

We have some problems in this country. The problems are health care, education, and energy. They're what brought us to THIS brink.

Oh, these aren't new problems. We've had 'em for quite a while... But, nobody wanted to deal with 'em because they're too hard... So, they ignored them...

Guess what?? When you ignore the future, the future bites you on the a$$. We've been bitten. We need somebody to fix those things. Obama IS. It's clear, that you guys are going to to your best to stop him. HE is going to to his best to stop YOU from stopping HIM, and if he can do it with a vote of "reconsiliation", then I'm all for it.

Now, I may NOT agree with HOW he's going to fix it. But, I get that if it DOESN'T get fixed, we're done.

Your right there koolaid sipper. Health care is in disarray. Why? How about too many illegals coming here and getting free care at our expense. Or how about all the pregnant illegals that come across the border to have a baby in the USA and then get grandfathered in?
Now, on to education. Who is it that stripped the children of DC's rights to get educated where they could actually get taught? Yup, Your dems in congress protecting the teachers unions! Why is it so hard to get rid in incompetent teachers? Why is it so difficult to teach children? Simple really, union protectionism and illegals. I have nothing against immigration if it is done legally, but the illegals streaming across our borders daily is a threat to our sovereignty as a nation.
Again, I have to ask you who is it that has refused to site or allow new refineries, or exploration for oil, gas, and coal? Which party is pandering to the environmental movement to garner the vote?

Hello again, 450:

While we don't agree on the causes, we DO agree that there needs to be a fix.

I'm not a Democrat. I HATE Democrats. I'm not a Republican. I HATE Republicans.

If Obama fixes it like a partisan, then I'm going to HATE him too, cause it ain't fixed.

But, I'm willing to let him try to fix 'em. You aren't.

Tom is right. After 8 years of non-stop whining about every move Bush made we're supposed to shut up because it's only 56 days in and "we have some problems in this country." Seems to me that now is exactly the time to make my views known before the problems are compounded and my country is no longer recognizable.

Secondly, to my knowledge no one ever held Bush up as a great orator. Obama on the other hand, has been described as “silver-tongued,” a man whose words “elevate.” Oprah described him as “an evolved leader” with “an ear for eloquence and a Tongue dipped in the Unvarnished Truth." Face it, without his teleprompter he has a heck of a time living up to his Messianic billing. Our criticism of his bumbles is more a reflection on the mind-numbingly ignorant devotion of his followers than it is the man himself.

Lastly, I’ve read our newspaper virtually every day since I was 18 - al-AP has been my primary news source for 30 years now. Nevertheless, all these other “minions” – left, right and otherwise - are useful as they have the time and resources to monitor happenings all over and bring them to our attention. But leave it to you guys to be critical of taking advantage of available resources. That’s silly.

Bush started the economic decline of this country. It was like a snowball rolling downhill.

Obama in 56 days has turned that snowball into a full fledged avalanche.

From the 60 minute interview...

The Kroft quote was:

“You're sitting here. And you're— you are laughing. You are laughing about some of these problems. Are people going to look at this and say, 'I mean, he's sitting there just making jokes about money—' How do you deal with— I mean: explain.. .

“Are you punch-drunk?”

End quote.

Obama came back with such a great communicator line, so intelligent, so brilliant we are told by liberals that he has a halo this messiah in, “No, no. There's gotta be a little gallows humor to get you through the day,” Obama said laughing again.

Gallows humor? This in a serious interview? I guess he just fell out of bed on his head or thought that the words gallows humor was cute?

And this is the President of the United States speaking? I certainly don't take a person of this ilk seriously.

Hello again:

I remember a time when I looked in the mirror, and didn't believe I would ever get old...

At around that same time, my country made promises to spend money that it didn't have and couldn't sustain. Like me, they didn't believe the bill would ever come due.

Guess what?

The wolf is at the door, and yes, I'm old. Some people, more than likely the ones who brought us here, don't want to believe the wolf is here yet. In fact, like me, they don't believe the wolf will EVER be at the door...

I guess they failed at math.

So, since the wolf is at the door, some fixing is in order... Because we waited SOOOO long, the fix is going to be BIGGGGER.

You're right. I DIDN'T fail at math. Fortunately for the country, Obama didn't either..

So there's some INVESTING needing to be done... Now, you can invest in one of TWO ways. One way will produce a return on your investment. The other way will cause you to go broke.

I'm still waiting to see how the big fix works itself out.

Yeah, I don't know what will work. You don't either. But, pretending the wolf ISN'T at the door ISN'T an answer.

Ex and Obama learned a different kind of math than us. Maybe they can do better with pictures, like this one (http://blog.heritage.org/2009/03/24/bush-deficit-vs-obama-deficit-in-pictures/) on Obama's deficits?

According to Robert Freeman, a Bush deficit of $565 billion WAS the 800 lb gorilla in the room, the Deficit Death Spiral (http://www.commondreams.org/views04/1022-26.htm). A $1.85 Trillion dollar deficit - for this year alone - sure seems like a pretty darn big gorilla to me.

Say koolaid sipper, if this is such a great thing to spend, spend, spend. Why is it that the leaders of the socialist nations of France, and Germany are telling Nobama that his plans are one big mistake? In a real democratic society we need to let these companies fail. No one bailed out the little service station operator I used to work for years ago when he mismanaged his money. Why do we need to do it for the fat heads in NewYork and Washington?

In a real democratic society we need to let these companies fail. Hello again, 450:

We're not talking about a bailout here. THAT was chump change compared to the budget.

We're talking about reforming health care before it bankrupts us, reforming Medicare and Medicaid before they bankrupt us, and reforming energy before we run out of oil.

Those aren't little problems. But they ARE problems that Obama is going to FIX. The fix isn't going to be little. It's cause it's broken real bad - REAL BAD. But, it's an INVESTMENT, not an expense... Investments produce returns. Expenses don't.

I have some charts too, that show if we don't fix these things, we'll go broke SOONER.

Oh yes you did twink. You posted this a few days ago.

Ever wonder why he's not spending much time in the WH lately? Because he'll probably have to do something that takes brains and we all know that he doesn't posess anything near the capacity it takes to be the POTUS. Never has, never will.

And being a colossal bore is just the beginning folks. He's guaranteed to get worse as the time goes on.

Loved Arnold's comment about him when he was in California the other day. Apparently anyone that comes laden down with bags of money is "beautiful" to him. Sure, and Arnold I believe is a racist. He just likes the green in O's briefcase with Arnold's name on it. What a fake Arnold is. But he does not even hold a candle to the real faker.

His wife is worse. She hasn't the faintest clue how to properly dress herself. I just love her fashion sense. Wear black as much as possible. And wear wigs that look like wigs.
