I want to know about the what is procedure for J2 visa and the age limit of issue.
I am in J1 status live in USA. My girl friend (her date of birth: Febraury 1992 ) lives in India. I am going to get married her soon (in India). May be within another 2 months. Is will be any issues associated with her age for J2 visa processing, if I plan to bring here to USA? Thank you for your advices.

She is 17 so there may be an issue as to whether or not she is legally allowed to fill out the application. I've never encountered this problem before and would have to therefore suggest you talk to an immigration lawyer.

Please post back here to let us know the outcome, I'll try making a few calls to people I know who may know this.

EDIT: Well I can't get a certain answer but it sounds like if she is old enough to have be married (legally) in the state you are living in then it should be okay. You may need some form of parental consent to attach to her J-2 application.

I live in Oklahoma. State says legal marriage age 18, below should be accompany parental conset. However the marriage will be held in india. The India law show girl age should be 18 or above. Do you think I will have problem of getting marriage certificate from India to produce for Visa applications? Or I should wait for a year, to she become a 18?

Well if you are getting married in India will India allow you to get married (with parental consent) while she is 17?

If not then you can't get married and therefore cannot file the J-2 yet
