I just came back from Home Depot and grabbed one of the Behr painting color combo brochures. It gives possible color combinations. A color combo that my wife likes has a body color of sage, white for the trim, and a beige for the accent. Would my front door be considered an "accent" color?

Hi logan not to be coe here but yes the door is always an accent color to make a statement and to invite with the eye. Since you already have three colors and should not necessarily do four, pick out the sage or if you do go with a 4th color make it a shade different then the sage.
Surprisingly I have been impressed with behr paint. Used it in Puerto Rico on the walls and concrete ceilings. Down there is a very tough environment for paint to say the least. Were close to ocean ans salt.
Just got back to you on the threshold. Now this makes me look over posting. I'm a true re hap from top to bottom.
Good luck on the paint.
