It depends on the hot tub. It could be a simple GFCI breaker or a breaker to a "spa panel" which has the required GFCI in it.
Your spa could be 120, or 240 or 120/240(i.e. needs a neutral)

The wiring needs to be large enough to provide proper amperage to the spa (there should be a rating listed on the spa itself). A breaker in the main panel need to be the proper size to protect the wiring. From the panel the correct wiring needs to be run, in conduit, to a disconnect that's at least 5' from the spa, and within sight of the spa.
Simple answer... call an electrician experience in spas :-)

I agree with the previous posts. We need more info about the spas requirements and frequently homeowners end up needeing to install a sub panel. The last one I did needed a 50 amp GFCI in a ew sub. The breaker alone was $150 just for the part.
