Cl has 7 valence electrons which would make it an anionso the Lewis Symol would be Cl with 7 dots around the Cl but Cl is part of the group of elements that have 2 of it's self to stand alone, so in a Lewis structure it would be Cl-Cl with three lone pairs on each Cl. Dash meaning a single bond so it would look like this.
.. .
:Cl - Cl:

Sorry it didn't turn out right the top dots 2 on top of each Cl 2 dot under each Cl and 2 dots on the left of the 1st Cl and 2 dots on the right of 2nd Cl

Chlorine is in group 7A therefore it has 7 valence electrons , so its lewis structure (Cl) is surrounded by 7 dots.
1 dot to the rght of Cl, then 2 dots on the top, left, and bottom.
