I need to replace a GE Model 5KSP29KK 1892-S blower motor. I went to the local Granger Store and they sold me a replacement motor (AO Smith Model ONR6026). The problem I face is that the original had 4 wires (Black, White, Red, Yellow) of which only the Black, Red, and White were connected. The replacement motor has just two wires and both are black. It also has a connector on the end of the wire. Is this a viable replacement? Was the original a multi speed motor? I know the replacement they sold me is a single speed.

You had a multispeed motor and they sold you a single speed? Why ? Looks like they made a mistake. Get the correct motor.
