How geothermal cooling works?

Works very well if installed right

There are two types: One that requires an intake and injection well separated by some distance. The other way used buried tubing.

The earth is basically at a constant temperature, normally around 55 F and you effectively have a water to air heat pump working with a 55 deg source or sink.
