I found a little baggie full of small, white round pills. On one side there is a large imprint of what looks like a lower-case a, except it's quite fancy and could very well be another symbol. On the back there reads 6 E (could also be G E) at the top and 5 at the bottom, separated by a line.

Any Ideas?

Take the bag into a pharmacy and leave it with them. Tell them you found it. They will identify and dispose properly.
