In australia, if I said no to being the father of a girls child to csa do I legally have to take a paternity test? Even if I am the father would I have to? Not asking for abuse, just the answer to the question, thank you for your time

Many countries have laws requiring paternity testing if the mother is petitioning for child support. If there is no legal issue requiring it then chances are you wouldn't have to. My opinion though is to go ahead with the test to clear up any uncertainty you or the mother may or may not have. The mother of the child may take it wrong but you need to get clarification for yourself and then you are armed with the information you need to either be part of the child's life or not.
