:confused:OK where to start...

I am not sure if I am pregnant or not. I have Poly Cystic Ovaries and I am on Metformin ( a diabetic med that is used for woman with P.C.O.S.). With this med I ovulate regularly and have a menstrual cycle each month. Without I don't. So this past month I got my period but it was 9 days early. Which has never happened. I normally get my period on time. Today is 2/23/09. I normally get my period on the 20th of each month but this month I got it 2/11. Well I have been getting strange symptoms. Here they are fluttering in my belly, nausia, head aches, a heaviness in my lower abdomen and breast tendernes. Now I have had two pregnancy before this. My first one was a still birth due to an abrubtion at 34 weeks about 4 years ago and my last one was a full term pregnancy with a healthy baby boy about 2 years ago. I know what you must be thinking "she been pregnant before why is she confused? She should know". Trust me I am thinking the same thing. I took two pregnancy tests. The first came out with what looked like a very faint ghost line of positive. The second came out negative. I don't know what to think. I am confused. I am out of work and so is my husband due to layoffs. It is a very stressfull time to say the least of course this would be the time I would get pregnant without even trying and not expecting it. And trust me we are being careful. I don't even know what sex is anymore;) considering we have a 20 month old:eek: and are hella busy lol!

What should I do? I can't afford to go to the doctor because we don't have insurance. But if I am pregnant I don't want to jepordize the wellfare of myself and my baby. COULD I BE PREGNANT? PLEASE HELP!!

Hi I've been reading your note and I believe that every pregnancy is different. I have just recently had a miscarriage and I didn't know the signs very well. The ghost line that appeared on your test is not a pregnancy line I had this to only to start my period within the next couple of weeks. Don't stress yourself about this it's completely normal to feel as you do. I believe the best thing you can do is make sure you are not doing any heavy lifting or anything to hurt your unborn baby if you do turn out to be pregnant but mostly I would say be patient. Leave it for a good 2 weeks before trying to take another pregnancy test although you are showing the signs of pregnancy this could be linked to other things. I hope this helps and good luck!!

Periods can be off for a number of reasons. See what happens when your next period is due and test accordingly if need be. In the meantime, treat yourself as though pregnancy is a possibility... make any lifestyle changes you know would be wise.
Your symptoms could be from the stress of your current situation, even if you may not feel particularly stressed, could be an illness you are fighting, could be ovulation, etc..
