Can the courts keep me from my son whom I found about 3yrs ago and at this time I was getting full custody of my 2 kids from my previous marriage which I did get full custody. I thought the child was another mans son the biological mother was collecting support from this other man for 5yrs until he goes and gets a paternity test done. Which proved he was not the father now she went after me to pay support which I have been for three yrs. I didn't know that the other man was legally paying support until 2weeks ago from a public record at the courthouse. I have asked the courts to let me petition for a paternity test they said in the state of California its already been more than 2yrs and most judges would never grant me one. I have never had a relationship with this child due to the mothers irratic behavior. I and the bio-mom work for the same company she has a history of drug abuse, claiming harassment from other co-workers ,when things don't go her way. Now I am seeking child custody and she already received the paperwork and is calling me and my wife harassing us. When we call her back to tell her to stop calling she calls the police on us, she is a sick person we think. She's telling all our co-workers that I am only getting custody, so I can lower the child support. Which she did take me back to court to increase and is now doubled in payments. I just got married have 6 kids with my wife 3hers and 2 mine from previous marriages and 1 child together. The judge grant me no hardship that court treated me like deadbeat when they don't know my story. She has started so much drama at work telling all our co-workers about our business AND FOR GOD SAKES SHE WAS ONE NIGHT STAND DEAL.
She keeps insisting I will never get custody of my son since I have never was able to see him. You see with this woman if you don't want her than forget about the child you won't ever see him is her mentality don't know what to do I can't even afford my family I'm even losing my house. Due to this woman's mental status I couldn't go through with fighting for the child in question at the time I was going through a divorce.

Well, one thing in this thread is true: you won't get custody of the child. You *may* get visitation, probably supervised.

Stop interacting with this woman outside of a legal realm. Block her calls and under no circumstances do you return hers. It won't end well for you in court.

How did a court force you to pay support but not allow you to take a paternity test before support was ordered? What state are you in?
