Well I had to pay 30 pounds extra for another courier form... but its fine..

At least I don't have to sit around cursing them no more.. Thank god for that... Btw... could someone give me a mixture recipe... something that has worked for them..

Hi guys... Just made my first batch of 5 oz mono here is what I mixed.. I'm guessing this must be around 15 % strength.. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE CONFIRM??

- 1/2 tablespoon monobenzone powder ( pale white ) 100 per cent
- approx. 2 oz of hand sanitizer.. mixed in small amount of very hot water...
- then mixed the two and added about 10 gms of retin a .5 per cent
Then added JERGENS lotion about 4 ounces of it... and mixed properly...


Applied it once last night and once today morning..


CAN ANYONE TELL ME IF I NEED ANY DIFFERENT MIX OR SOMETHING TO ADD OR DELETE FROM THIS ?

HOW MUCH IS THIS STRENGTH ANY IDEA HELP... IM GUESSING ITS ABOUT 15 PER CENT ?

Hi Needtolighten, I use the following recipe to make a 20% lotion. I then mix the lotion with my own body lotion to get a 5% lotion because 20% irritates my skin. The progress is slow on 5% but it's woking for me. Hope it helps.

- 20% mono powder
- 20% pure raw shea butter (melt the shea butter, do not microwave it)
- 10% hand sanitizer
- 20% plain lotion 20% (e.g. vaseline)
- 10% pure aloe vera gel
- 20% spf 30+ sunblock (use hight spf for Summer)

And you got the cream... its like 17-20%

needtolighten, I think it is less than 10% since 1/2 tablespoon mono in a 4 oz lotion is 10%. Yours is 5 oz.

needtolighten, mono is dangerous, but if you watch your skin and start SLOW... you'll be OK. I started with a 20% and got irritate within 2 weeks. I reduced to 10%, still irritated in the third week. I then reduced to 5%, then 2.5%. After a month of 2.5%, I increaded to 5% and so far so good. 5% starts to give me result after 3 weeks. Make sure your skin is NOT dry and looked healthy. Stop the mono lotion for a day or two, if your skin is not feel normal. Never use higher than 20%. Stop using it when you skin starts to look bad. I am in my second month of 5% and so far so good. Again, start SLOW and "listen" to your skin. After all it's your skin, LOL.

needtolighten, I have a very sensitive skin and I don't use anything with mono lotion. Yes. My skin have been visibly lighter then before. My husband notices it too. I use it once a day only in the morning. I put mono lotion on my cleaned skin then sun block lotion on top of it after 1/2 an hour. It took two weeks to start seeing results. I got darker in the first week, but am now about 1-2 shade lighter. I moisturize my skin in the middle of the day and at night with a good body moisturizer. I exflo. Twice a week. I also take Vit. C twice a day. I think every skins are different and you just have to find a good % of mono and a good procedure for your skin. I almost gave up on mono since it irritated me so badly. But, I have so much of the mono powder and have studied a lot about it, just can't give up eassily. I am glad I can use it without irritation now and seeing result even it is slow. I started in Oct. 07, on for a week and off for a couple, re-adjusted mono %, tried again... I can now use 5% for a month without any problem. It works finally. My skin not only lightern it up but also even it up so nicely. I may try the 10% after another month. Again, be patience, careful with mono, take your time and find a good % and procedure for your skin. TAKE CARE OF YOUR SKIN :)...

Well I am of asian descent and up to now I have had many arabs asking me if I am arab or pakistani from time to time...

The monobenzone hasn't really done much yet but I'm happy it hasn't really darkened me all that much this time..

In fact I had a girl telling me how pink my skins gotten in the last few days.. usually I'm in the higher yellow side of skin texture..


I noticed in the mirrors compared to people that my skins pinker mostly because of the lemon rubbing I sense and then applying the monobezone..

But it was definitely darker than before.. although my fingers the knuckles seem darker than usual I'm figuring the remianing areas have lightened causing this effect.

I think maybe not apply that often like 2-4 times a week seems that the skin is kind of traumatized right now and you need to take it easy to help it regain itself.

Aha! I got it! Hydrogen peroxide will give u the little kick u need w/o drying your skin...
Careful on your face it will turn r eyebrows red...

Don't put it in your mixture. Use it as a n astrigent. ( after u wash your face. Put it on let it dry. Then your mono.

Hydrogen peroxide is gentle it doesn't burn but it will lighten, hair skin clothes.
I've used it as an astrigent for years.
Some women use it on their mustaches... & lighten their eyebrows.
It's not alcohol or acid like lemons.


Mono is scary to put on your face! Thank goodnes I didn't try it! I'm not that daring! Or brave.

A good tip for preventing your eyebrows from getting bleached, apply vaseline over it. I do this when I'm using Jolen. :)

Think that's how the stars have those brown eyebrows, that look so nice with their makeup

I've highlighted my eyebrows before. Sally hansen has a good one also.

Although peroxide and retin a did help me with acne blues in my early teens I know it's a sexy useful product.. it even causes temporary whitening... making you look much lighter especially if you have a cold water bath and then aplly it..

No it will not burn your lashes. It doesn't burn even if u apply it to a cut or bruise.
Try it on your hands first. U'll see. It has no tingling burning or stinging. I use to exfoliate then pour about 4 bottles in my bath water. It didn't burn there either! LOL try it.

& put it on in about 7 min they will be lighterrr. I put on & forgot once.
I ended up w blonde eyebrows. I had to add a brown lip pencil until the color grew out which was 3 weeks... LOL

Nothing yet... I added 1 tube of retin a. it has an awful lot of alcohol in the HQ. I put in retin a & thought I should get something to mix it w.
The alcohol or witch hazel broke the cream down fast. I shook the jar up & it was blended.
It smells like alcohol also. My other mix didn't smell like this??

K so sorry its taking so long for you I saw results like after a few days, maybe your skin has developed a tolerance for hq and you may need a stronger dosage to see results ( just a thought)

Retin a from india works better than the real one... trussme I have used it a lot for my acne in my early teens...

Mono from india at least darkened me and gave me one little minuscule white dot on my neck then which at least makes me believe it was the real thing...

Surprised it didn't work for you but mono does not make you white over night and everyone reacts differently 2 it, some see spots in less than a week others it takes months, I had spots prior to using the hq which blended it out nicely with a nice pale to high yellow undertone, maybe you need a stronger strength

From now on I will no longer take advice from you lighter and will ignore your posts.

chandani I am sorry for you, but honestly speaking how long did you give it a try for and did you really give it a fair shot, I mean I didn't apply the hq one night and the next morning I was like 10 shades lighter, it took time and patience somethig we all often lack in skin lightening. But I stayed through and now I am enjoying my dream colour

Did u put retin a in your mix? I feel the premix mono which I know worked. Was simply mono & lotion perhaps a small amount of hot water to break down the mono powders. All that extra stuff I feel make the creams less potent.
Sunscreen should be on top of your mixtures not in it. Alcohol, coca butter darken skin...

Guess what ? I think I did mention it to you... but I handed over a small amount of mono poweder from mono.net
To my friend in university.

The moment he saw it he said there is something mixed along with the mono so its not pure mono powder.

But then he mentioned that he has to test it to find out if that's the case. He mentions the mono he has come across in the past luks slightly different and cannot make sure it's the pure form unless he tests it.

He should let me know about the authenticity soon.. Im just hoping its fast!

I first used Mono mixed by a friend with retin a and lidex cream and he told me if anything works its got to be this

IT Didn't. And then the kind lady from .net told me LIDEX has steroids... so I stopped it..

I tried almond oil and olive oil mixed with mono like Supershallow mentioend.. NOTHING

I tried Retin a and sunblock with mono... NOTHING HAS HAPPENED

I have now tried plain MICRONIZED through PESTEL AND MORTAL MONO with pure alcohol or hand sanitizer and NOTHING HAS freakni happened

Now I am also applyling BEnzyl old batch after using the MONO... My skins reddeend again like it used to when I only used BEnzyll.. and NOTHING else...

Im so freakin miffed.. My friend says the MOno may not be pure... and he is finding it dfifficult to get it tested... I am losing my patience with him too.. lol

Don't think you are not going to see anything for very long... trust me look at me. I saw nothing for 3 months.

Wow gorgeous you have been through it all k this is what I think you should do:

Get HQ 20 or 40% mix it with some movate or neoprosone, apply as much as possible. Use a whitening soap to bath and wash your face with, like kojic acid soap etc. also get a good exfoliator so you can easily get rid of the peeling skin.

( I had an asia friend that used neoprosone and mono mixed together and he had fantastic results)

*** but movate and neoprosone are both steroids and they can be dangerous to your health so you really have to use them with caution**

You may also need to take some vitamin c pills or gluthathione pills I recently started to use them not sure if they work thought, I got the gluthathione injections but I haven't started on those yet

Hey gorgeous, neoprosone is a corticosteroid and lidex is a gluco corteroid, so lidex is a little weaker than the neoprosone which is like one of the strongest skin lightening steroids out there. Like I said before my friend who is also asian had good results with it (mono + neoprosone).

You don't have to look ugly, you'll get to your desired colour its just taking a little longer than you anticipated that's all, you know I have reached my desired colour and I'm only doing maintenance now and what I have discovered is that skin lightening is a life long commitment.

You know it just doesn't stop when you have reached the colour of your dreams and patience is really a kind virtue, so just hang in there and there has to be a skin lightening cocktail that will work for you.

My other girlfriend is like rihanna's colour she started @ whoopies colour and she has been bleaching for over 6 years now. Here is her regimn

20% HQ, 20% Mono, Movate, skin whitening soap, Retina and her skin is completely flawless.

How are you doing, I started to peel really fast I think I am like super sensative to hq, cause I been puttin I on my legs and it like peels right away. I believe mpk has began to peel, but everyone is different and what works for me very well, may not be the same for someone else. Just keep applying the cream and use a skin lightening soap and retina and you should have good results. Also try to be patient and know its impossible considering we all want to be light like yesterday,

Girl yea, 2% has always worked great on my face. I'm still waiting on my soap kojic and papaya. They are out so hopefully the soap comes in soon. I know together it should be good the cream and soap. I still have 2 1/2 jars left so I won't be ordering for another 3 weeks maybe r when I'm down to my last jar. But do you think I should but some Movate myself and mix into it until I have them to do it for me.

how r u doing,, i started to peel really fast i think i am like super sensative to hq, cause i been puttin i on my legs and it like peels right away. i beleive mpk has began to peel, but everyone is different and what works for me very well, may not be the same for someone else. just keep applying the cream and use a skin lightening soap and retina and you should have good results. also try to be patient and know its impossible considering we all want to be light like yesterday,

Well after I read Hq is ineffective in plastic jars after its open. Perhaps I should try 40%.

Mpk I thought you where peeling, hq in plastic jar ineffective I am not sure about that all hq products I have bought always came in plastic jars, and they worked for me, but I think you should give your skin a break, going to the tanning salon may not work very well ir you may do more damage, maybe take it easy for some time, let the skin rejuvinate and recover, I feel it for you girl, ont eh diet front aka lemonade only diet I am down 7 pounds in 2 days.

so sexy I used movate before but it's a streoid and its dangerous to use if you have certain health conditions, so check it out before you use it. I was fine but I know people that have had adverse reactions to movate.

I wasn't peeling I got crazy w the acid soap exfoliating. It irrate my skin then the soap burn me.

One dr suggested a tanning booth to get my color even. I might do it if the 40% doesn't work. I had a nice color w/o the spots.

Well lighterr... as usuall I am going the whole curb using the mono powder... but it isn't working.. and the benzyl batch which remains with me isn't helping out either...

Now the hq thingie worries me... because I'm not sure if I should get it from .net guys...

Like I said last time you may have success with the neoprosone & mono mixture my other male asian friend had good success with that combo he lightned about 4-5 shades, it's the only thing I can think of that may work for you gorgeous, these days I'm peeling again, I love the new fresh lighter skin I see below, but its like a light peel, not as severe as the original peel where the skin was like falling off

I did a 4 day tomatoe boiled eggs grapefruit thingy... Those 37.5 pills may give you a heart attack. We didn't gain the weight over night so we won't loose it over night. Im slowly coming down but I am going to do the 4 day. You are so HARDHEADED!! LOL see? Now you want to naw on your finger... lol
