Hi I've bin in a realationship with my african boyfriend for nearly 3 years,but he hasn't got a visa, we haven't been living together but we want to get married and make things legal for him, how can we go about this? Also if we where allowed to marry I have 2 children and claim tax credts as I work, would we be able to claim this with him not being able to work or would this affect us, I live in west yorkshire, thanks michelle

As far as I understand the UK law if you go to the UK Border Agency they will start deportaion on him... But if you use the local C.A.B office and your Social Worker they can get it sorted out.
