View Full Version : Low beams, dash lights not working

I just purchased a 94 Honda Accord and the high beams work however the low beams and internal lights do not work. Brake light works when pressed only. Dome light and clock light works. I cannot figure it out and the fuses seem to be very hard for removal/testing.

Any thoughts?

1. check the bulbs
2. the brake lights are SUPPOSED to only work when the brake is pressed
3. A fuse removal tool is just a buck or two... get one and check your fuses.

... and stand by for another opinion from our cars & trucks experts :)

Thanks.

I meant rear lights do not work unless the brake is pressed. Sorry

I will see if I can pick up a fuse grabber. Tweezers did not work.

I will hck back for other suggestions and let everyone know if I get it resolved.

Check all fuses to rule out the simple stuff. If they're all good, you most likely need the headlight switch assembly that goes into the steering column.

Thanks to all.

Some bulbs were burned out. After purchasing a few bulbs and wiggling a few around, they began working after one fuse was replaced. All is working now, Low beams, Dash lights and my back lights. :p :D
