So here goes...
I use DS kojic acid soap.
I am using a compound of 4% hydroquinone, lidex, lubriderm on my really dark spots.
After that I apply 10% AHA lotion, I'm going to try and find a 15%.
I also take a 500 mg vitamin C tableta every day.
This going to be my rountine everyday. I want to see if this will make a difference. I have an appointment with my derm begenning of April so if the HQ doesn't work he might prescribe me something else.
I will update you guys every couple of days.
If you have any suggestions as to what else I should use or where I can get 15% AHA lotion, or if 500mg Vitamin C is not enough let me know.

fhabeeb,
What sort of lightening are you hoping to achieve?
Are you trying to get back to an original tone or are you trying to achieve a tone lighter than your natural skin colour?

I am going for something lighter than my original skin color. My face is lighter than my body now because of various products I had used. So now I am working on my body.

I;m curious to know what will 10% aha do? Peel and exfloiate the skin right? Where did you find this if I may ask?

Here is some info on aha peels.
It should be easy to Google and find a site where you can purchase from depending on where you live.

So its been about 5 days since I started this regimine. I don't notice any difference really. My skin is just really soft and super silky. Sometimes I think my hands look a bit lighter but I'm not so sure in other types of light. So will wait and see. Hopefully it gets better.

Still no noticeable difference... but on my feet I notice little darker spots on my toes... where they bend.. I had those before I think but they are more visible now... might be because skin around it is lightening so I can see them now... will keep you posted

OK so I can see a little tiny bit of lightening.
But I have also noticed that my skin is becoming more sensitive where I am using the lotion.
As of now I am using it all over my arms, my knees and my feet. Those are the darkest places on my body. And then if it works I will use it all over.
Also I went to my regular doctor and she said she could prescribe me the hydroquione with lubriderm, don't have to go to dermatologist.
Because the lotion I am using right now has lidex in it and it's a steroid and I don't think I need but that's how he wanted it. It will cut down the cost some I think. She also said that steroids make skin thinner making it more susceptible to sun damage.
Hope it works :)

Honestly I don't!
I know that's bad I should
On my face I use oil of olay with spf 30 sunscreen
But I don't go out in the sun ever really
Except when I drive to and from work so I didn't think about it much really

Well if you use olay with the SPF in it then that's good. :)
