Can a felon apply for a business grant or loan? If so, what are the names of those grants and/or loans?

Hi, dizzy4noreason!
I'm assuming that you mean a former or ex-felon. Would that be correct?
If so, once someone has done their time and paid their dues to society, they are free to apply for loans and grants just like other people who want to start a business. I don't believe there to be any grants or loans that are specifically available for businesses, just because someone has a felony conviction on their record.
If you would give us a little more information as to the kind of business that this would be concerning, that would be helpful.
Depending on the type of business and people served by the business, some grants and loans may be easier to get because of the type of business and people who will benefit by the business.
Thanks!

A felon is a person who has been convicted of a felon, whether the time has been served. That's the legal definition.
Anyone - felon or no felon - can apply for business loans. A lot will depend on whether you need a license for the profession you have chosen and whether you qualify for that license (as a felon) as well as whether you can get bonded.
