I have a ceiling fan with wires blue, black and white, but I have no idea where to connect them with the ceiling supply box. Or in other words do I connect the black into red and blue into blue and I have no idea where white goes plzzz help. Thanks

Didn't the fan come with a wiring diagram? Can you check the mfg's website for one?

I Work W/ An Electrical Eng.
Good Luck And Turn Off The Main Breaker Not Just The Breaker To The Room The Main. Sometimes The Room Won't Do.

Hey umm I tried the black wire the black, the blue with the blue and the white with the red but it didn't work I turned on the breaker and it blue out :eek: so could you help me again please!!

What About A Ground Wire? Is It Grounded? Other That That Contact Manf.

What are the colors in the ceiling box? What was each of the wires connected to before?

Best to be using a voltage tester to check each wire in the outlet box, as you can see, this is no time for guessing.

White to white, black to black, blue to red is standard. If you have other colors in your ceiling box we may have to try again.
