An additional follow up question I have is that since my cousin has not been convicted of DUi in either state would a Probation Officer in Alabama be able to see the pending charges in the other state? If not, why would he alert them in Alabama which will absolutely cause him to have issues? Just VERY concerned.
Hello my cousin received 3 years probation in Alabama for a publix intoxication charge in Alabama and is set to stand trial in a couple of weeks for a DUI charge that occurred within one week of the Public Intox case also in Alabama. He no longer resides in Alabame and the issue is that he has since received a DUi in another state and these charges are now pending. We have been continuously told not to commingle the two states so as to not alert one of the others charges. However, should my cousin tell the probation officer of his move to this new state (where DUI charges are now pending) or still maintain he lives in Alabama until the DUI charges can be resolved? [/
