Hi

On my monitor I have a vga and dvi-d imputs.

I also play my xbox 360 on my monitor as well using the xbox vga cable and its starting be a pain keep switching the xbox vga cable and PC vga cable over when I want use them.

So I thought about using the vga imput for my xbox and keep that screwed in to the monitor and buy a DVI-D to VGA cable to go from my monitor to my computer.

I was wondering if this would work all right? I don't have a dvd imput on my graphics card.

I think I can switch from vga to dvi using button on my screen, when I push the button analog and digital comes up. The vga seems go to "analog" and I'm guessing the "digital" would go to the DVI-D.

My monitor is SAMSUNG SyncMaster T220.

First, it's input, second, a DVI-D input is strictly digital. If you had a 360 which outputs HDMI you could try to convert from HDMI to DVI.
