My mom was working with a company, she is a convicted felon shen she applied with the company on the appliction she ststed that she was a convictied felon, and also during the interview she told the manager she was... The company then got a new manager and found out that my mother was a felon and fired her... can she sue the company for discrimnation?

Nope. Companies can fire people for ANY reason they want.

Being a felon does not mean she was being discriminated against. The fact they hired her was great. The fact some new manager came along and fired her, he could have fired her for any and no reason. He just may not like working around felons. Who knows?

Discrimination, what level, you can have all sorts of legal discrimination, if you do't like red haired people you can not hire them, nothing illegal about that, but it is discrimination.
There are protected classes of people, for age, sex, religion and other listed reasons,
But yes, they can, being a felon is not a protected class.
