Great morning... but I am having a problem

I just had a 24x36 garage built... I have a shower/toilet/wash basin built in. The shower/toilet/wash basin has not been used in a while.

I recently took the wash basin out and relocated the wash basin about 8 feet from where the original basin was and replaced it with a laundry sink.

Ran my lines to replace the old with the new... after running the new lines to the laundry sink... turned the water on and had excellent pressure with no leaks!

Now here is the dilema... like I said before the "bathroom" for the garage is not used a lot... so I figured while I was checking to ensure water flow to my laundry sink was running properly I deceided to check my toilet.

I flushed the toilet and to my disbelief no water came back into the tank/bowl. I ensured that the on/off valve for directing waterflow under the tank was in the on position.

So I turned the toilet valve to the "off" position" and proceeded to turn the water valve under the toilet tank to the "on" position...instead of water coming through to fill the tank, I hear "air" coming into the tank.

The plumbing in this bathroom for the garage is approx. 9 months old.

Like I said before I have excellent water pressure going to the shower/sink etc... but why is the toilet not receiving water?

Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

.. instead of water coming through to fill the tank, I hear "air" coming into the tank. Something's pushing that air and I'll bett it's water pressure. When you bleed all the air out of the ballcock what do you have? Let me know. Tom

I will try this... I will also let you know how things work out.

Thanks for getting back to me.
