One of my customers has been getting boil like things under her arms and I am getting concerned about her since she has not yet been to the doctor. Can you tell me what these could be?

How log has it been,

She says she has not had enough help at work but she is going. This is her second one. They burst and then slowly go away. The only thing we can compare them to are boils. They have only been under her arms.

How old is she? This could be the start of Hidradenitis Supperativa. Usually develops in
20s and 30s. Very common for it to happen in the armpits and groin. HS is NOT acne. I hope this is not what she has, but it is something to investigate. There is NO cure. Lots of info on the net about it though. She needs to see a dermatologist for a diagnosis, most family doctors do not deal with this and may misdiagnose. Hope this helps.
