I have two toilets which are back to back on either side of a wall. I am experiencing occasional problems with both toilets flushing. I have a convntional septic system and the tank was cleaned out about two years ago before I purchaced the home. I called the company who cleaned it and asked if it should need to be cleaned again, and he said no. He referred me to a plumber who says that I need a new field line which he would install for $4,200. This problem has just began, and it comes and goes. But it does seem like it may be worse when it rains. But I am confused, because bath-tubs drain just fine in these bathrooms. I've ran a 25' snake down the vent on top of my roof to see if there was a blockage and have used a plunger until I almost have a blister on the palm of my hand. Yesterday the toilets would not flush, and this morning they were working fine and now they will not flush again. The bowls will just fill up with water and after a few minutes will return to normal level. PLEASE help if you can.
